The 62nd AMOTA Meeting

The 62nd AMOTA general meeting was held on June 15 at the Olympic Memorial Center in TOKYO, in which around 30 members and visitors joined. 10 subjects were presented as below.

1. Summery for kappa Lyrids shower in '97. by Y.KAWAI

2. The result on the meteor observation relating to the Aquarius in '97. by Y.KAWAI.

3. Introduction foreign article translated into Japanese ; "Something is Wrong at Sikhote-Alin" by O.R.Norton. by Y.WATANABE

4. "Burst" activity of the Perseids in 1862 remained in the civilian chronicles and diaries in Japan. by Y.WATANABE

5. Trial for the meteor shower catalogue based on the meteor observation in Japan. by S.YOSHIDA

6. Analysis in reference with Geminids activity in '96. by H.OKAYASU

7. The long term variation of the Geminids meteor shower. by K.IZUMI

8. Time table for the Persids observation in this year. by H.OKAYASU

9. The Guidance for '97 Persidis. by T.HASIMOTO

10. The verification for Capriconids shower based on the obtained radiant points.(form '70 to '96 by NMS) by T.HASIMOTO
